We were in Florida on vacation, and I was standing on a vanity stool, straddling the sink trying to fix a light fixture. I lost my balance and fell to the floor hitting my back on the stove and twisting my leg. 911 was called and I was admitted to Sarasota Memorial Hospital. We called EA+ shortly thereafter and they started working on my case.
I had fractured the head of my right tibia and fibula and was put in a full leg brace and non-weight bearing. I needed to get to a nursing facility near my home, but the doctor said I had to go per gurney. An RN and a paramedic from EA+ came to the hospital 4 days later and transported me by ambulance to the Sarasota airport where I was put on a gurney onto a private jet. My husband was able to fly with me to an airport 30 miles from the nursing home near my home in Ohio and the medical team accompanied me by ambulance until I was safe in bed at the nursing home. They were wonderful! Pilots and everyone. I cannot give enough praises. The experience couldn’t have been better, and we never received a bill. Thank you, EA+.
