Our last stop on a leisure and family visit in Germany before taking a transatlantic cruise home was in Barcelona. I fell in the hotel room, broke my leg (femur), and was taken to the hospital. I had surgery to repair the break. My husband contacted both our health insurance company and EA+. As we prepared for my release from the hospital, my surgeon’s orders were that I could fly home only if I flew first class with a travel nurse.
EA+ took care of ALL the return trip details. They arranged for airline tickets, a travel nurse, and all necessary ground transportation. It took 18 hours from our hotel room in Barcelona to our home in Cincinnati, but the travel nurse made it as smooth and safe as possible.
We have had EA+ for many years since our family and friends are spread across the U.S. and Europe. This is the only time we have had to use it, but it will always be part of any future travel plans we make.
